Improving Your Consistency

Most golfers lack the consistency needed to have any semblance of a game plan that will work prior to their rounds.

“It was my pleasure to meet you at this years PGA show. Thank you so much for your help with our custom MEGSA Mats and also introducing me to your new Country Club Elite Mats. As you know we run multiple golf academies and have been looking for an acceptable synthetic hitting turf option for years. I had given up hope until seeing your product. It provides a true feel with true results especially on a “fat-shot”. We plan on installing your product at two of our academies this year with more to come. Best wishes for your continued success.

Sincerely,”

This professional teacher believes that the great golf training aid described above is a great way to practice your shot and gained the consistency you need to shoot more solid rounds. The best thing about the outdoor golf driving mat is that it can be used in your backyard along with limited flight balls to give you a new style of practice that will certainly help.

Remember that Shot I hit on # 5

The swing is never learned. It’s remembered.
– Bagger Vance, The Legend of Bagger Vance

I had one of the best shots of my life last week and It reminded me of a shot that must have been 15 years ago.

No I’m not one of those guys that can recite every shot of my life or even my last round. But I’ve noticed a lot of good golfers can.

This was a situation where I came close to truly picturing the shot in my minds eye. I mean really seeing it. I’ve only gotten to this “Zen” state of golf twice and the shot I hit was the exact shot that I had just hit in my minds eye.

It reminds me of a book I have on the theater of the mind. It says if your out in the woods and you think a BEAR is chasing you — your mind and body react LIKE a BAER IS chasing you.

So it makes sense if you can really see it in your head it’s like you have actually done it.

So try to add this step to your preshot routine and see what happens.

Grip It And Rip it!
